Cooking Seasonally - Summer
What is kohlrabi? How long do I cook rutabaga for? Can I eat asparagus raw? Have you ever seen unusual vegetables at the farmer's market and wondered what it tasted like? Bring all of your questions as we have many answers.
Eating locally means supporting the small business owners in your community who in turn support other small business owners in the community. It also means eating fresher food straight from the farm which has a higher nutritional content. This is one of a series of four classes about how to eat local for every season of the year. This class will use local vegetables to make seasonal, vegetarian dishes.
